Sun Young Hwang, PhD

Sun Young Hwang is currently a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia and the District of Columbia (DC). Dr. Hwang earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University after completing her pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She completed her post-doctoral training at the MECCA Group, LLC where she further gained experience assessing students’ cognitive, academic, behavior, and socio-emotional functioning in the school-based setting. Dr. Hwang is currently an assessment supervisor at the MECCA Group, LLC overseeing various private, government, and school-based evaluations for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students.
