Professional CounselorDr. McKenzie Green is a Licensed Professional Counselor with licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, District of Columbia, and Virginia. Dr. Green earned a Master of Arts degree in the area of Professional Counseling at Webster University. She earned her Educational Doctorate in the area of Curriculum and Instruction at Northcentral University.
Dr. Green is no stranger to the field, having spent 21 years as a therapist and 5 of those years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, where she provides counseling services to school age children with developmental, learning, behavior, and mood disorders. Currently, Dr. Green is based at The MECCA Group, LLC, where she provides school-based counseling and supervision services across multiple schools in Washington, DC.
Dr. Green specializes in treating children with ADHD, Conduct, Autism Spectrum, Anxiety, Depression, and Learning disorders. Her main area of interest is in helping underserved and school aged children who have experienced trauma to overcome these life challenges.
