More than 1,000 women attended the 12th Annual DMV Links Red Dress Event on Feb. 7 at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Dressed in various styles of fashionable fiery red dresses, the women gathered to learn about heart disease, the number-one killer among women in the US. The event emphasized the need for total body health in caring for the heart- from mental, to physical, to even oral healthcare recommendations.Dr. Keisha Mack, co-founder and COO of The MECCA Group, was a panelist for one of the information sessions.
