Managing Director

Theresa M. Clomax serves as the Managing Director of The MECCA Group LLC, where she leads and oversees the organization’s administrative and operational functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment. In this role, she is responsible for managing human resources, payroll, contract development, and internal systems while supporting executive leadership in advancing organizational goals and business growth.

Ms. Clomax brings over a decade of progressive experience in human resources, operations, and business management. She has a strong background in aligning operational strategies with organizational objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and implementing systems that improve efficiency and accountability. Throughout her tenure at MECCA, she has played a key role in developing policies, streamlining onboarding and payroll processes, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

In addition to her leadership at MECCA, Ms. Clomax has served as an independent consultant, providing strategic guidance on business operations, compliance, and human resource development for mental health and consulting organizations. Her experience also includes managing operations within clinical and private practice settings, where she supported billing, credentialing, and organizational growth initiatives.

Ms. Clomax earned her Master of Science in Business Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland University College and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Towson University. She has completed professional training in diversity, equity, and inclusion, HR law, and payroll compliance, and is a certified Safety-Care Trainer, equipping her with skills to support safe and effective behavioral interventions.
