Sia A. Southern-MCoy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Sia received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California in May 2005. She also received two undergraduate degrees from California State University, Long Beach in May 2003, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science.  She had provided therapy to school-aged children in the traditional school setting as well as in-home settings for many years. Sia has a wide variety of experiences as she has over 15 years of expertise in the clinical field working with adults, couples, college students, veterans, adolescents, and older adults. Sia specializes in assisting clients with overcoming and mastering the challenges that arise from anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, mood instability, relationship conflicts, and trauma.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, gardening, and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
