Tiffani Allen, MEd

Ms. Allen is currently working in the capacity of School Psychologist and Therapist under the direct supervision of Keisha Mack, PhD, with The MECCA Group, LLC. 

Ms. Allen has over 23 years of experience in the mental health and education fields working with children and families with special needs. Ms. Allen earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1992 from Howard University, as well as the Masters of Education degree with an emphasis in School Psychology in 1994. Finally, Ms. Allen pursued doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology completed coursework, externship and predoctoral internship at Boston University Department of Psychiatry and Boston Medical Center's Multicultural Training in Psychology. 

Since finishing internship, Ms. Allen has served in the capacity of Mental Health Program Manager for dual-diagnosed men residing in a homeless services center in Atlanta, as Therapist for children residing in a residential treatment facility and finally as a Therapist and Intake Coordinator for children and families participating in community-based mental health services in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Finally, have worked in psychiatric inpatient and correctional settings.

Specific interests and specialties in school-based psychological and psychoeducational assessment, working with adolescents who have emotional or behavioral disabilities. As well as providing support services to parents who have children with special needs. In her spare time, Ms. Allen enjoys creative writing, therapeutic journaling and incorporating arts to promote emotional balance and personal well-being.
